My 5-year-old girl often talks about heaven too. Usually it's in relation to who's there already -- last night before bed, she got a little teary-eyed and I asked her what was wrong. She said she was sad because she wanted to go to heaven and see Samson and Joseph (her current biblical favorites.) :) I'm continually fascinated by how these little minds work.

Thank you, Irene and Emeth, for the encouraging post. It really came to me on time because I was hunting for a dorm to stay for next semester at grad school. I found one but things didn't go smoothly. I got frushtrated and discouraged. But Emeth's thoughts about heaven reminded me that I'm not home yet. As Irene said, I shoudln't place my hope in sticks and stones. Praise God! Now I know I'll definitelt deal with the housing stuff with thanksgiving and dedicate my life there to God. It's not about me, but Him.

The reason Irene made the comment about the roof is that for some reason, most of the homes we have looked at have water damage on the ceilings. Roofs must not be what they used to be. :)
